How do we charge for our services?

We always commence a project with an initial complimentary site visit which gives the client an opportunity to discuss their requirements and consider their viable options, and our first steps towards developing a brief.

We either charge on a time plus costs basis or negotiate a fee.  For simple projects we can agree a fixed fee, sometimes based on a percentage of the estimated or actual project costs.  For more complicated projects we carry out a cost forecast exercise taking into account the skill levels and experience required by the project. We calculate as closely as possible, at each project stage, the involvement of all project staff and calculate a time and costs requirement. This forms the basis of a fee budget for time plus costs or a fixed fee agreement. We will only agree a fixed fee once the brief has been completely agreed. Any variations to brief are charged on a time plus costs basis.

Our fees are competitive when compared with similarly experienced, professionally established practices. We conduct market research to compare our fees to our competitors in the area and, like them, we take a view on the complexity, challenge and time required to successfully complete the project.

Our office is fully maintained and established and we carry a minimum of £1M Professional Indemnity Insurance. Confirmation of insurance cover can be provided on request. We subscribe to Investors In People and have procedures in place to maintain Continuing Professional Development for all staff.

Please contact us to discuss, at no obligation and in complete confidence, any project you have in mind. We will then provide you with an outline of the staffing requirement and likely costs involved.
