Replacement Dwelling, Hertfordshire

The original 1960s dwelling was of poor design and construction and contributed little to its setting.  This winged design was developed to follow the contours of the site and the path of the sun, is eco-friendly, designed to ZED standards, with recycled wastes and using alternative energy sources, but has all the modern amenities expected for a large family home.

Residential Extension, Hertfordshire

We have recently completed this rear extension.  The existing house was originally designed by PHD Associates as part of a 5-house development to replace an unprofitable hotel.  The extension provides a larger kitchen, breakfast area and an additional family room without compromising the aesthetics of the original dwelling.

Redevelopment of Coach Works, Essex

We are currently in pre-planning discussions to demolish the existing 1950s single storey B1 Business Units on the site. The existing units are of poor construction, have asbestos corrugated roofs and are in a poor state of disrepair, requiring major investment to bring them to the required minimum standards needed under current regulations. In evaluating different proposals it is our opinion that the only sustainable redevelopment for this site is a change of use to residential.
