CADVANCE	CADVANCE was the first successful Windows-based CAD application on the market. We use this program for the majority of our 2D CAD work.  We find that overall it is an easy program to get to grips with, and once you are used to the functions, very quick to create and manipulate drawings with.  If only it had the layout functionality of AutoCAD. AutoCAD	This is the industry standard 2D/3D CAD program.  We find AutoCAD is more difficult to start using, however once you can complete the basics, the rest slowly follows.  Layout views are, however, an excellent function!		Autodesk
SketchUp	SketchUp is powerful yet easy-to-learn 3D software tool. We love this wonderful 3D program which is incredibly user-friendly!  It's easy to create detailed 3D models and produce images and walk-throughs from all angles.		@Last Software
Autotrac	Autotrac Architect is a web based time & project management system. We found this system to be very poor.  Though relatively user-friendly, many of the functions do not work as they should, and although in the beginning, help was at hand from the creators, there is now no communication and we are currently trying to remove the program from our system. IntelliCAD	Slightly easier to use than AutoCAD, but still has many of the complexities.  Unlike AutoCAD, doesn't have the benefits of being the industry standard, though does support .dwg files very well. 20:20 Software	Kitchen design layout software used by kitchen manufacturers such as Magnet. A good program which incorporates design (2D layouts and 3D views), budgeting and installation details. Drag and drop features are easy to start using, however as designers, our requirements were more bespoke and we feel the creators let the software down with their reluctance to assist in rectifying errors in catalogues. It is also not possible to import or export drawings to other CAD programs.  When installed we found the program interfered with other programs installed such as CADVANCE.		Twensoft
Nvu	A complete Web Authoring System for Linux Desktop users as well as Microsoft Windows and Macintosh users. This website has been created entirely using Nvu.		Nvu was started by Linspire, Inc.
Firefox	Firefox is a free, open-source web browser for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X and is based on the Mozilla codebase. It is small, fast and easy to use, and offers many advantages over Internet Explorer, such as the ability to block pop-up windows.		The Mozilla Foundation
