Overview
This 5-storey mixed use residential development providing living rooms that are front the Holmes Road to utilise the light from the southern sun path. The plan form is cascades back on the upper level to acknowledge the relationship to the student accommodation to the West and allow light to flood into the plan.
The design provides amenity spaces for the residential flats which consist of commercials units and well-lit courtyard public spaces that are biophilic and green promoting a sense of openness and inclusivity.
We are dedicated to sustainability and Holmes Road was designs to meet a 19% carbon reduction over the new 2013 regulations for sustainable homes. The building is compact and airtight designed for thermal efficiencies to reduce fabric heat loss.
